Optimum safety monitoring in the OR requires early enough warning of hemodynamic changes to allow intervention before significant consequences develop. The TL-150 accomplishes this and more:

  • Non-invasive beat-to-beat monitoring
  • Meets AAMI standards* without the invasiveness of an A-Line, or the delayed readings of an intermittent oscillometric cuff.
  • Validated accuracy
  • Clinically proven to provide timely, accurate measurements and a real-time waveform equivalent to the accuracy of an arterial cannula.
  • Early warning
  • Enables rapid detection of hemodynamic changes that may signal serious complications.
  • Early response
  • Allows immediate intervention for unanticipated events.
  • Superior control
  • Enables routine monitoring of even the most difficult patients, and provides immediate feedback on the impact of interventions for optimal blood pressure management.
  • Highly robust
  • Tolerates significant patient movement.
  • Easy to learn and use
  • Hands-on setup time is under 2 minutes.

The TL-150 has been validated against a contralaterally placed invasive A-Line reference in a statistically significant surgical patient group in accordance with AAMI SP-10:2002.* Nearly 150,000 paired data points over more than 57 hours of monitoring were collected from this surgical population and analyzed. The resultant mean and standard deviations were computed for the three blood pressure measurements, as summarized below:

Systolic Pressure Diastolic Pressure Mean Pressure
Mean Error 1.0 mm Hg 0.8 mm Hg 1.3 mm Hg
Standard Deviation 7.2 mm Hg 7.5 mm Hg 6.2 mm Hg

These data show that the TL-150 is well within the AAMI SP-10:2002 Accuracy Specification of a mean error not exceeding ±5 mm Hg and a standard deviation not exceeding 8 mm Hg.*

Case history: A 61-year-old female
Revascularization history: Colitis, PVD, and extensive smoking
Comments: Unanticipated rapid increase in blood pressure

*Accuracy data collected and reported per AAMI SP-10:2002 Accuracy Specification 4.4.5.2.B (Intra-arterial Method as a Reference Standard) for Non-invasive Blood Pressure Monitors.
