Tensys® Medical Inc. to exhibit at the annual meeting of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, October 14-18, 2006.

San Diego, CA | October 3, 2006 -- Tensys® Medical Inc. (www.tensysmedical.com)will be exhibiting their innovative T-Line®, a continuous non-invasive blood pressure (cNIPB) monitor, at the American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) 2006 annual meeting. This year's event will be held in Chicago, IL, at McCormick Place, October 14-18. The event will feature a preview of the new TL-150Plus Tensymeter®.

The TL-150Plus is designed to reduce set up time and improve ease-of-use. First, a new disposable sensor allows quick and easy application onto a patient's wrist. Second, updates to the software allow a non-invasive measurement in less than two minutes with an accompanying real time waveform. Last, hardware modifications create an instant-on monitor enabling rapid set-up when time is critical.

The enhanced T-Line® will be on display at McCormick Place during exhibiting hours October 15-17, 2006. Visit booth #379 to view the latest strides in cNIPB - more information, more quickly, enabling early warning for an early response.

About Tensys® Medical

Tensys® Medical, Inc. is the leader in real-time blood pressure management. The Tensys® T-Line®, the company's lead product, was cleared by the FDA in November 2002 for non-invasive, continuous real-time blood pressure monitoring.

The T-Line® non-invasively and continuously measures a patient's blood pressure at the radial artery. It offers clinicians better, more effective control over patient safety by allowing them to quickly monitor and manage blood pressure variations. The T-Line® provides continuous, real-time data and has clinically equivalent accuracy to that of the arterial line (A-line). The device is based on Tensymetry®, the company's proprietary and patented technology for non-invasively extracting the continuous, beat-to-beat pressure waveform from the radial artery without the use of any external calibration device. The science of Tensymetry® is the result of over eight years of research and development.

Tensys® Medical is based in San Diego, California and was founded in November 1995. For more information, please visit the company's Web site at www.tensysmedical.com.
