In tilt-table testing, accurate measure of blood pressure fluctuations is essential for evaluation of neurally mediated syncope. With an intermittent NIBP cuff, there is a delay of 3 to 5 minutes between measurements, which makes it possible to miss vital data. In contrast, the TL-150 monitors blood pressure continuously and prominently displays critical values in real time, enabling physicians to detect blood pressure fluctuations the moment they occur.
The TL-150 system works with any tilt-table configuration, and hands-on setup time takes 1-3 minutes. Patients can wear the latex-free, single-use sensor for hours without discomfort or trauma to tissues. Beat-to-beat accuracy and response to labile pressure are nearly identical to an arterial cannula.*
